Description:
The Victoria Golf Course in Vilamoura, now officially rebranded as The Els Club Algarve, has undergone significant renovations under the leadership of golf legend Ernie Els. Originally designed by Arnold Palmer and renowned for hosting the European Tour’s Portugal Masters from 2007 to 2022, the course has long been a symbol of excellence in European golf.
The extensive upgrade aimed to modernise the course, elevate playing conditions, and enhance all on-site facilities—ensuring it remains a world-class golfing destination. The newly transformed Els Club Algarve was officially inaugurated on 21st July 2025 and is set to welcome golfers from around the world with an even higher standard of service, design, and experience.
With this relaunch, the Algarve further strengthens its reputation as one of Europe’s top golf regions.
